(Clarksville, Tennessee) October 29th, 2014 – Recruiting specialists from M&W Transportation headed north to Ft. Campbell today to interview perspective drivers who are retiring from the military. Since partnering with the Support Military Foundation two years ago, M&W has been working diligently to hire men and women who have served honorably in the military. Hiring soldiers is no easy task, even though these men and women have driven heavy machinery, from combat zones to Interstate I-24, their military license does not apply on the civilian side. Vice President of HR, Bart Spain; “For civilians who want to drive a truck, we have very specific hiring hurdles that they must pass. For soldiers we are taking some of those barricades down to help get them working sooner than later.” M&W has committed to opening their own training facility so that they can expedite the process to hire soldiers to drive for M&W. “The American soldier has done so much for us, if a soldier just coming out wants to be a professional driver we feel that the least thing we can do is make the hiring process a little easier.” said Bart Spain. M&W looks to have great success today and if you know a soldier who is looking to join the workforce check out www.drivemw.com for more info on how you can join our award winning team.
