The M&W family lost a great friend and driver this week. Billy had been with M&W since July of 2012. Billy Joe Hill, better known as Joey, age 51, of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away on June 24, 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Funeral services for Billy Joe Hill will be conducted Friday, at 2 pm from the Alexander Funeral Home.Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.
The family request Memorials in the form of Donations be made toward the Funeral Expense.  These can be made at the Funeral Home office.

He is survived by;
Wife, Teresa June Hill of Lafayette
Daughter, Katrina Hill of Gallatin

Grandson, Nathaniel Murrell of Gallatin
Mother, Nancy Anderson and husband David of Scottsville, KY

Please remember Billy’s family in prayer as they work through this difficult time.

(Nashville, Tennessee) April 25, 2014 – M&W Logistics group is proud to once again partner with YES for their 18th Annual Golf Challenge at the Nashville Golf and Athletic Club. The outing is on Monday April 28th with registration and a free lunch provided by Jim 'N Nicks BBQ starting at 11am. The Golf Challenge begins at 12:30pm with a shotgun start and a goal of raising 100,000 dollars. All of the money raised will go to after school and summer programs for more than 200 disadvantaged kids. YES Executive Director Rob McRay is excited for another year of golf. “It’s a great opportunity for people to come out and have a good time and enjoy supporting a good cause.” Rob McRay loves the camaraderie that the Golf Challenge provides. “It gives us a chance to connect with people interested in the work we are doing, and lets them hear a little bit more about the youth we serve.”M&W will have a foursome in the tournament with one of the four being one of the YES kids. M&W Logistics Group delivers Girl Scout Cookies for soldiers

(Ft. Campbell, Kentucky) March 28, 2014 – M&W Logistics group was thrilled to be the logistics provider of choice for the Middle Tennessee Girl Scouts to deliver 20 pallets (27,000 boxes) of cookies to Ft. Campbell. The cookies will be separated into groups and then sent to the troops in Afghanistan. The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee use the organization Hugs for Our Soldiers for their Caring to Share and Gift of Caring service projects. “Through the annual cookie program customers can purchase cookies then donate them back for the Gift of Caring program, which is what we are doing today.” Amber Moak is the communications manager for the Girl Scouts of middle Tennessee. “M&W has been so helpful for us, they help transport our cookies; we cover 39 counties so we really need M&W’s help.” Founder of HUGS Cathy Orcutt was happy to see the M&W Truck this morning. “You all are a part of the team as well, how could we bring all of these cookies up here without you all.” Girl Scout Cookies that will go a long way literally and figuratively, “It’s a huge morale booster; everybody likes to get a care package. Chief Warrant Officer Brad Etzler who was a recipient of Girl Scout cookies while in Afghanistan a few years back. “Getting cookies shows that everyone back home is thinking about them.” Chief Etzler and his group were helping organize cookies on their day off but everyone was happy to chip in. M&W Logistics Group is always happy to serve our service men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom.

Hugs for Our Soldiers (the successor organization to Hugs for Soldiers) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been supporting our troops since 2003.
